I. Opening Song
Song: “Saved My Soul”
II. Call To Worship
Reading: Psalm 93
Call: This is the Word of the Lord.
Response: Praise be to God
Song: “O Praise The Name (Anastasis)”
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24,
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
God, before your holiness who can stand? Before your awesome power, we are undone. Your majesty and glory are frightening, and your righteousness is terrifying. Oh God, who can stand before your throne and not tremble in horror. For you are clothed in splendor, and we cannot endure the weight of your glory. When you call us into the presence of your holiness our sin is revealed, our shame is made known, and our guilt is too much to bear. Oh God, we need to cover our shame and rid ourselves of guilt, but our most righteous works are like filthy rags before you. There is nothing that can hide us from your judgment. So pleading for forgiveness we confess our sins to you this morning, trusting in the atoning blood of Christ.
Response: Father, forgive us.
Song: “Have Mercy On Me”
IV. Assurance of Pardon
The gospel of Jesus Christ is indeed good news! It is good news because it announces the fact that God became flesh and atoned for our sins. He has covered our shame, and he has removed our guilt. Jesus has taken his place upon the throne and has clothed us in his righteousness, and has secured us in his covenant faithfulness. For Jesus is the radiance of the glory of God, he is the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. And this great king now brings many sons and daughters to glory. Instead of cowering before his greatness, he transforms us into his likeness, from one degree of glory to another. He has taken us from objects of wrath and has transformed us into objects of affection. In Christ, we no longer fear the righteousness of God, for by it we have been changed into redeemed sons and daughters. This is the good news of the gospel, Jesus has brought us into the holy of holies and has secured us in his presence. So church, hear these words, by the great and powerful and glorious name of Jesus I declare to you, your sins are forgiven.
Response: Praise be to God!
Psalms: Book II

Psalm 45 | Pastor Zach Ritz
As a child of the King, you may eat and drink at the table He has prepared for you. Together we shall celebrate His victory & proclaim His death until He returns to feast with us again. Take heart; He has not forgotten you.
