Song: “His Mercy Is More”
II. Call To Worship
Reading: Psalm 93
Call: This is the Word of the Lord.
Response: Praise be to God
Song: “A Mighty Fortress is Our God”
Song: “There is a Fountain”
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24,
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
Lord, you are exalted and worthy of all praise, you are beautiful and are adorned with majesty. Your voice bears the power of the sea and your speech pierces the ironclad hearts of the wicked. You are awesome and worthy of all praise, and your commands are just and good. Yet, the lives we live are consumed with vain attempts to count ourselves worthy of your praise. We strive and we fight to win the approval of our peers, and we fuss and we whine when we don’t get our way. Lord, selfishness and pride lingers upon our breath, and our clothes are stained with discontentment and apathy toward the life you have called us to live. Lord, we recognize our need for your grace so we come to you now confessing our sins.
Response: Father, forgive us.
IV. Assurance of Pardon
Church, your prayers for forgiveness have not failed, for they have ascended to the right hand of the Father where our Great High Priest has now interceded on your behalf. You are not condemned, Church. The cross of Jesus Christ guarantees this glorious reality. Jesus on the cross took upon himself the full weight of sins curse; he took its condemnation, its shame, and its guilt. He who knew no sin became sin for us. And for what reason? So that we might become the righteousness of God! Yes, Church, Jesus took the full unfiltered wrath of God upon himself so that you might be brought fully into the covenantal love and faithfulness of the triune God. For you are his and he is yours; you have been bought with the price and have God’s seal upon your hearts - you are the redeemed! So hear these words, by the great and powerful name of Jesus I declare to you that your sins are forgiven!
Response: Praise be to God!
Song: “Living Hope”
Ephesians: The Mystery of God
Obedience and Authority
Ephesians 6:1-9| Pastor Kyle Lammott
As a child of the King, you may eat and drink at the table He has prepared for you. Together we shall celebrate His victory & proclaim His death until He returns to feast with us again. Take heart; He has not forgotten you.
VII. Offering: (You may place your Prayer Requests in the offering basket)
Now may we respond by faithfully and generously giving of our resources to advance the work of the Gospel and God’s kingdom on earth.
Song: “My Hope is Built”
Call: 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
May the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints
