I. Opening Song
II. Call To Worship
Reading: Psalm 103
Call: This is the Word of the Lord.
Response: Praise be to God
Song: “Great Are You Lord”
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24,
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
Lord, how our thoughts have wandered away from the truth of your word, and our actions have followed this same course. We have walked away from the sanctuary of your presence with spiteful words, jealous motivations, and wandering eyes. Oh Lord, you have created us to dwell in your midst, yet like Cain, we have traveled eastward into the dark forest of self-glorification. With each step, we feel the weight of sin upon our shoulders; with every evil thought, with every hateful motivation, with every prideful look, we submit ourselves to the debt of sin. Lord, upon the cross you have taken this weight, you have paid this debt, you have brought us to yourself, so we come to you now seeking to be renewed before your throne. So we confess our sins and plead for your mercy according to the grace of the cross.
Response: Father, forgive us.
Song: “O Come To The Altar”
IV. Assurance of Pardon
Church, God is not a stingy God. He is not frugal with his grace, nor is he tightfisted with his mercy. Yes, the debt of our sin is far weightier than we can ever hope to bear, but God is abounding in mercy and extravagant in grace. For in Christ, God has lavished upon us the riches of his grace; he overflows our cups with forgiveness and fills our bellies with blessings. Oh church, we ought not come to our King expecting crumbs from his table, for he has gone into the dark forests of our wanderings, into the depths of our depravity and has taken us into his arms and has brought us to the table of his glory where the meal is not a crumb but a feast. He has spared you no good thing, for he has blessed you with every spiritual blessing. His grace and mercy extend to the four corners of the earth and his forgiveness abounds beyond the highest mountain. Church, do not despair, but rather lift up your hearts, for you are loved. And now hear these words, by the great and powerful name of Jesus I declare to you that your sins are forgiven!
Response: Praise be to God!
Song: “The Solid Rock”
Ephesians: The Mystery of God
“Testimony of Grace”
Ephesians 2:1-10 | Pastor Kyle Lammott
As a child of the King, you may eat and drink at the table He has prepared for you. Together we shall celebrate His victory & proclaim His death until He returns to feast with us again. Take heart; He has not forgotten you.
Song: "Your Mercy”
