I. Opening Song
Song: ”Only King Forever”
II. Call To Worship
Reading: Revelation 4
Call: This is the Word of the Lord.
Response: Praise be to God
Song: “O Praise The Name (Anastasis)”
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24,
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
Lord, throughout this last week, we have not lived faithfully before you. We have not taken our thoughts captive, and we have not guarded our words. For we have allowed bitterness to fester in our souls, we have allowed lust to rage in our minds, and we have allowed pride to rule in our hearts. Lord, you rule and reign from your throne; your kingdom has been established, and we have lived as if your mission has failed. Your Word declares that the gates of hell will not be able to stand against the onslaught of the redeemed, yet we have laid down our swords, and like passive cowards, we live as if we are defeated. Lord, we need your word to dwell richly in our hearts and your Spirit to embolden and empower us because we live as cowards and are in need of your grace. So we come to you now confessing our sins.
Response: Father, forgive us.
Song: “Come As You Are”
IV. Assurance of Pardon
Indeed, we have fallen into the swamps of passivity and cowardice. We have failed to live as the blood-bought rulers we were saved to be. But know this, Church, you serve a God who will not leave you or forsake you because you have failed to live faithful. The gospel is the good news that the King has redeemed you from the swamps of your wretchedness, and by his grace he is renewing you daily to be men and women who not only stand firm in the face of evil but by the authority of King Jesus demand that all such evil bow down and submit to God’s rule. Church, you have been forgiven of your sins, you are co-heirs with Christ, you have been saved to rule as his hands and feet in the advancement of his kingdom. Church, do not be skeptical toward this great salvation but instead receive these words as faithful and true. Church, by the great and powerful name of Jesus I declare to you that your sins are forgiven!
Response: Praise be to God!
Song: “My Hope Is Built”
Ephesians: The Mystery of God
“His Glorious Inheritance”
Ephesians 1:15-23 | Pastor Zach Ritz
As a child of the King, you may eat and drink at the table He has prepared for you. Together we shall celebrate His victory & proclaim His death until He returns to feast with us again. Take heart; He has not forgotten you.
Song: "Your Mercy”
VII. Offering: (You may place your Prayer Requests in the offering basket)
