I. Opening Song
II. Call To Worship
Reading: Psalm 138
Call: This is the Word of the Lord.
Response: Praise be to God
Song: “Love Shines”
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24,
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
God, you have called us to image your Son, to shine as lights of the king, pushing back the darkness of our world. You have called us to follow you no matter what the cost. You have given us with every spiritual blessing, you have equipped us with the full armor of God, and you have given us a spirit of boldness. However, fear runs through our veins like a disease. You have called us to live faithfully, loving one another, serving one another, speaking with the authority of the King to a lost and dying world, yet we tremble with fear and blush with doubt. Embarrassed by what people might think, we hide our light and looking for approval, we affirm the darkness. Lord, our weakness is so clear in the light of your glory and strength, and we are reminded of our need to confess.
Response: Father, forgive us.
Song: “Come Thou Fount"
IV. Assurance of Pardon
The Great and Mighty King sits on his throne laughing at the darkness as it tries to overcome the light. God laughs in the face of the enemy because his kingdom cannot be conquered, and the gates of hell are not able to withstand the onslaught of the redeemed. For by the blood of the cross Jesus has forgiven the sins of his people, and now through the power of the resurrection he is renewing his bride from one glory to the next. For no one can bring a single charge against God’s elect! And this is why God laughs, for Jesus has already defeated the enemy! Church, do not believe the lies of the darkness but believe this declaration to be true, by the great and powerful name of Jesus, I declare to you that your sins are forgiven!
Response: Praise be to God!
Song: “Lamb Of God”

As a child of the King, please come forward to eat and drink at the table He has prepared for you. Together we shall celebrate His victory & proclaim His death until He returns to feast with us again. Take heart; He has not forgotten you.

Song: “Jesus Is Better”
Call: 2 Peter 3:17-18,
"You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen."
