Liturgy Guide - November 24th
I. OPENING
Song: From The Depths Of Woe I Raise To Thee (Psalm 130)
II. CALL TO WORSHIP
Reading: Psalm 34:1-8
Call: THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LORD.
Response: THANKS BE TO GOD!
Song: I Will Wait Upon The Lord (Psalm 130)
Song: Come O Sinner
III. CONFESSION
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
Corporate Call:
Lord, you have promised that the knowledge of your glory will cover the earth like the waters cover the sea, you have commissioned us to bring the gospel to the nations, and you have called us your ambassadors. Rather than passionately being about your mission, rather than humbly submitting to your rule, our hearts have become cold to your grace.
The feet you have given us to bring good news to the lost have become heavy with self-indulgence.
The tongues you have given us to proclaim your goodness have become instruments of gossip and death.
The hands you have given us to create and serve have found purpose in ‘clicking’ and ‘swiping’ for self-glorification.
Lord, you have created us for yourself, yet we have become consumed with our own selves. For this reason, upon our knees we come before your throne of grace, seeking your forgiveness and deliverance, so in the name of Jesus our redeemer, hear our cry:
Response: Father, forgive us.
IV. ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Arise and hear the good news!
Church, your prayers have not failed, for your confession has ascended to the right hand of the Father, where the Great High Priest has now interceded on your behalf.
Beloved, never forget the transforming power of God’s grace! The good news of the gospel declares that the river of life flows forth from the throne of our King bringing renewal and cleansing to those who have fallen into sin. For Christ himself has called you to come and drink from the springs of his mercy, to bathe in the flood of his redeeming love, and be washed by the eternal love of the Redeemer.
For through his atoning sacrifice we find hope in the midst of despair and forgiveness that conquers our depravity.
Church, there is no reason to be downcast this morning; instead, lift up your hearts and hear these words, by the great and powerful name of Jesus I declare to you that your sins are forgiven!
Response: Thanks be to God!
Song: Jesus Is Better
V. SERMON
Genesis 22
Abraham, Isaac, and the Mountain of God
Kyle Lammott, Lead Pastor

VII. COMMUNION
As a child of the King, you may eat and drink at the table He has prepared for you. Together we shall celebrate His victory & proclaim His death until He returns to feast with us again. Take heart; He has not forgotten you.
Song: I Stand Amazed (How Marvelous)
